Please Consider Supporting the SMPS Foundation

The SMPS Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established by the Society for Marketing Professional Services in 1992 to promote research and education that advances the body of knowledge in the field of professional services marketing. The result? Greater understanding of the role and value of marketing and business development in the industries SMPS serves.
The SMPS Foundation actively promotes recognition of professional services marketing as an essential element of the modern A/E/C business model. To that end, they continually seek to identify and evaluate evolving marketing practices and to provide marketers with information and tools needed to achieve effective results in the changing business environment.
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, the SMPS Foundation regularly produces research reports, white papers, books, and other publications. Examples include:
  • Powering Up Technology: A Spotlight on MarTech | 2019
  • The Neuropsychology of Influence and Decision-Making
  • Pull Marketing in Action: How A/E/C Clients Use Websites to Find and Vet Service Providers
  • Measuring for Success: A Look at Hit Rates & Other KPIs in the A/E/C Industries

It should be noted that SMPS Seattle’s own Andy Zinsmeyer is the SMPS Foundation’s largest donor. As Member #1 of SMPS and the Society’s first treasurer, Andy has continuously supported The Foundation throughout and beyond his career. On December 5th, 2019, he was recognized by The Society’s CEO, Michael Geary, and the SMPS National President, Melissa Lutz for donating more than $37,000 throughout the years. Though retired, Andy still attends SMPS events every now and then. If you see him, take a moment and say hello!

Please remember the SMPS Foundation in your company’s charitable giving. Support research initiatives that help you, your firm, the profession, and the A/E/C industries. Give today:
