Marketing Metrics Done Right: How to justify everything you do!

How would you know your favorite team won the football game if they didn’t keep score throughout the game? Keeping ‘score’ also applies to marketing. If you can’t quantify the success of the marketing initiatives you implement, or measure to what extent you achieved your goals, justifying your marketing budget or kicking off a brand new campaign will be a serious challenge. Marketing metrics means your CEO doesn’t have to ask you how you did—he or she will actually see how you ‘scored.’ And the best part? Numbers don’t lie—they are definitive proof your ideas are working or they aren’t. Either way, the results will inform your future efforts.

Seattle’s five SMPS Fellows and special guest, Sarah Wortman, Director of Marketing for LRS Architects, will discuss the metrics you should be tracking, how to relate them back to your SMART goals, and what to share with your firm’s leadership and the firm as a whole. Opportunity conversion rates, social media analytics, and website traffic are a few of the basic metrics you should be tracking. Come learn other key marketing performance metrics you should track and how to do it.

If you haven’t seen DLR Group’s office before, you’re in for a treat. In addition, all Fellows Forum attendees are eligible to apply for the Fellows Scholarship—a paid registration to the SMPS Build Business national conference in San Diego, August 15-17, 2018.
