SMPS Seattle Fellows Forum | Learning from Lessons Learned

April 04, 2019
4:00 PM - 6:30 PM

OAC Services
2200 1st Ave S, Suite 200
Seattle, WA 98134

It has been said that ‘lessons learned’ is the most important and ‘value added’ aspect of the Fellows Forums. The truth is, the Fellows faced their share of career fears over the years, and they learned how to overcome them—sometimes the hard way. We’ve all been there…or we will be…but what’s most important is this: we’re there for each other.

In this interactive and revealing session, two up-and-coming marketing rock stars—Jordyn Prince from DCI Engineers and Brandon Peters, CPSM, from CLARK | BARNES —will pose questions to the Fellows about challenges or obstacles they’re currently facing. It might be about career planning, or how to market Marketing, or dealing with a difficult boss, how to manage a brand, breaking down silos, or how to go from a production role to a strategic role. Whatever challenges they (or you!) are dealing with, it’s likely the Fellows have already overcome them and can share their lessons learned. As always, the Fellows will take questions (anonymously or not) and seek additional feedback from the audience to make this a 360-degree experience.

Join us at 4:00 for a mini happy hour to network with colleagues and see OAC’s amazing new office and events center.

BONUS: SMPS members who attend this Fellows Forum program are eligible to apply for the Fellows Scholarship, valued at $1,500. This exclusive scholarship includes a paid registration to the SMPS national conference, Build Business, at the Marriott Marquis in Washington DC, July 31 – August 2, 2019.
