SMPS Seattle is powered by (12) Board members who volunteer their time to lead the chapter. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the chapter, and strives to advance the professional and personal development of chapter membership by growing our education and networking programs. Seattle’s Board of Directors also makes sure the chapter remains fiscally responsible for our members today and in the future.

I'm not quite ready for Board service. Are there other ways to get involved?

Joining a committee is a great first step to preparing for a future Board role, and volunteers are always needed. Volunteering for the nominations & elections committee is also a great opportunity to gain insight into the nominations & elections process. Consider one of the many opportunities to get involved.
