Speak at an Event
SMPS Seattle is always looking for industry experts for our monthly seminars and quarterly workshops. Both virtual and live presentations are offered. Generally speaking, we offer two kinds of events seminars and workshops:

Seminars: Typically held as lunchtime events on the third Tuesday of the month. Attendance size: 75 – 100 people. Event length: 60 – 70 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.

Workshops: Typically quarterly events. Attendance size: 40 – 50. Event length: 3 – 4 hours.

Choosing a topic: Prospective topics should increase the group’s knowledge on industry trends, business development, project opportunities, client relations, or miscellaneous marketing strategies. Past topics have included social media, interviewing, navigating the recession, construction delivery methods, infographics and more.
Submittals
Submittals are accepted on a rolling basis, with biannual evaluation and selection by our Education committee, typically in the fall and spring for the coming year. If you or someone you know is interested in presenting at an SMPS Seattle luncheon or workshop, please complete our Speaker Application Form and be prepared to submit the following information:

Catalyst Conversation Panelists
CATALYST CONVERSATIONS INTEREST FORM
When: Quarterly
Catalyst Conversations, bringing relevancy and action to all things A/E/C marketing, is SMPS Seattle's new panel-style program. Through networking and conversation, we bring diversity of thought and relevancy to marketing, communications, and business development professionals.
No prerequisites are required – our only goal is to have diversity of thought and voices for our audience. Interested in supporting the conversation as a panelist? Fill out our interest form, and be sure to include all your areas of subject matter expertise.
