Call for Speakers

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a national community of marketing and business development professionals working to secure business relationships in the A/E/C industry. Founded in 1983, the Seattle chapter is one of the oldest and largest in the nation, supporting the networking, education, and resource needs of more than 320 members.

SMPS Seattle is seeking industry experts for its 2020-202monthly seminars and quarterly workshops. Seminars are typically held on the third Tuesday of the month during the lunch hour. A typical presentation is 6070 minutes with 5 minutes for questions. Attendance size is roughly 75100 marketing and A/E/C professionals. Quarterly workshops are approximately 4050 people in size, and 34 hours.

Prospective topics should increase the group’s knowledge on industry trends, business development, project opportunities, client relations, or miscellaneous marketing strategies. Past topics have included social media, interviewing, navigating the recession, construction delivery methods, infographics and more.

Submittals are accepted on a rolling basis, with bi-annual evaluation and selection, typically in the fall and spring for the coming year.
